all’assassino e al traditore

di camminare tranquilli sulla terra.

I dipinti di Hirschberger fanno parte della serie Sur-Rational Paintings dei primi anni Novanta con cui il pittore ebreo tedesco, anch'egli sopravvissuto all'olocausto, propone un'interpretazione politica e poetica della terribile esperienza vissuta. I colori accesi, la linea da cartoon, l'infantilismo emozionato stridono con l'atrocità del tema e con la forza del messaggio che è insieme atto d'accusa e testimonianza.
